About the Coach

I came to Colorado in 1971 with the intent of taking up residency for college and, then pursue my degree. My first job was as a second shift bindery machine operator. I was hired on the spot and suddenly learned that during upturns in the business cycle, you should bring a lunch when you apply for a job. I left that Fortune 500 Company after 13 years with varying responsibilities in operations including production, warehousing, facilities and information systems management.

In my spare time I have enjoyed hiking in the Colorado Mountains, especially extreme challenges like the 14er, Longs Peak. It was through these marathon hikes that I discovered my knack and passion for coaching. It was revealed that coaching a first-timer up and down Longs was much more satisfying that going solely with experienced hikers. This revelation has caused me to attempt and reach the summit 9 out of 12 times.

This capacity for coaching was further developed in positions where I led others in project and business management. In 2001, I decided to pursue a coaching practice of my own. For the past 3 years I have been a Certified Professional Life/Business coach. My clientele are primarily small business owners, executives and professionals who are interested in taking their business initiatives to the next level.
